Asset Security
Mayoi no Nagare provides asset security for venues, storefronts, and locations of business that exist within contested or volatile spaces. The family refers to them as 'hallowed grounds'.
The presence of family members serves as a deterrent to opportunistic groups, hostile actors, and others seeking leverage over Mayoi no Nagare clients through intimidation and control tactics. Family members also specialize in addressing non-humanoid threats. Those include: voidal, yokai, and other anomalous dangers that pose risk to clients and their organizations.
Caravan Escort
"The road is never empty."
Mayoi no Nagare escorts the caravans and airships of its clients through regions where danger waits just out of reach. Bandits, rival outfits, and wandering monsters of many kinds are treated as expected obstacles rather than surprises. Each is addressed decisively so that routes remain open and schedules remain intact.
Hunts
“What disrupts the flow is cut away.”
Hunts are authorized when an individual or entity becomes marked and contracted out to Mayoi no Nagare. These operations are carried out individually or in teams. Threats are graded, and force is applied accordingly.
Members assigned to hunts act without hesitation, but never without purpose. Whether confronting voidsent, yokai, or mortal adversaries, the objective is singular: ensure the current continues uninterrupted. Once the tide recedes, the threat does not return.
About Us
Mayoi no Nagare
Born of those gone wayward, pulled into the current of Musa Ransetsu’s will.
Maoi no Nagare acts as opportunistic guardians, protectors of twisted self-interest.
Believers in stability, but on their terms, they uphold the idea of hallowed grounds for their clients and their opposition. Be it the threat of a rival clan or the supernatural, their goal is to strike back, to cull conflict within their gained territory so that those standing upon their grounds can flourish...Of course, in their ways, their ideals.
Above all else, the family endures.

For events within social society, members of Mayoi no Nagare don a uniform designed to enforce presence, stand apart, and signal solidarity. While a standard presentation is expected, variance of the uniform is granted within reason.Whilst some members may desire or disdain wearing the uniform, it is understood that it is not required for missions of combat nor for casual social gatherings—unless such gatherings involve business alongside pleasure.
